He then told me that the phone was not going to charge unless I got the prongs repaired, which "isn't even guaranteed 100% to work." So he told me it would be the easiest and quickest if I just bought a new phone. I know for a fact that neither of those things are true. He looked in the phone and told me there were prongs missing and corrosion from water damage. I went in simply because my iphone wasn't charging, and Verizon told me to go to the Apple Store to have them clean out the adapter hole. ooohh well take to replace "apple" for "samsung" pretty much!!! The store staff wow you guys need training one told me is okay come to the store,second and third one okay but go talk to the fourth person that will help you out, the fourth person sorry but there is nothing we can you even know you have a one year warranty witch does not help at all!! User ( 22:24) Bought a cable for my iphone months later the cable is falling apart called the store they told me I could replace it came to the store wow I have to pay $17 to replace it because the one year warranty is for pretty nothing wow this "apple" is ripping people off like crazy and we dont even know it. If you question why a repair that takes 15 -20 mins takes 4 hours you will get a nasty attitude and talked to like an idiot. They are more than willing to sell you something without an appointment but refuse to exchange something under warranty when you're the only customer in the store and 8 employees are standing around doing nothing. Even with a product under warranty they will try to haggle you to pay a price for repairs. They will try their best to help you in any way. Make sure you get a appointment if you needs repairing. Even when you have an appointment with them you still have to wait hours to get help and then they don't even help you to your satisfaction. Its not even just this apple store, its the apple company in general, they don't teach their employers basic customer service skills so they prance around having people wait for nothing. If I am not keeping the damaged item than why do I have to wait over an hour for a simple dongle replacement. As my phone is under warranty I am still told to wait 30 min for a technician when the item is damaged and since I am under warranty I should receive a replacement without hassle. So sorry this place lacks some vital service skills starting with actually LISTENING. Finally offered a 25 minute wait to see another tech. The “tech” was more interested in me showing proof of purchase than resolving my issue. 10 mins later I see a tech who attempts to negate my issue after his amazing 10 second triage. Went in for a tech issue and was immediately brushed off and told to wait. User ( 02:10) Would give the store a 0 if that was an option. I would and will rather go to a random east European freelancing tech geek for my iphone needs than walk my foot in that joke of a store again. More appalled than a man named Paul on the day of his birth. There are probably two people that work there that look like they might not hate their existence and the creatures around them, the rest should opt out of this job for a midlife crisis intervention.
This staff belongs in a mechanic shop due to all the nonsense they spill on you and suggestion of the most unnecessary fixes I have ever imagined.
Very vague in the way they explain the problem and resort to trying to have you buy a new phone or new parts. What Other Say: User ( 07:30) Unhelpful, make you wait, they direct the conversation to help make money and not fix the issue.
